Josh Owen returns to WA this time bringing his distinctive rich, soulful roots sound on his first solo tour after opening for Tony Childs on her 33 date national tour earlier this year.
Josh is no stranger to WA touring twice previously with his band, the first time, venturing over from his home town Melbourne for a nine date tour including the Swan Valley Blues Festival and the second time, late 2008, exclusively for Blues at Bridgetown.
Since Blues at Bridgetown Josh and the band have blitzed the stages at the prestigious summer festivals Queenscliff Music Festival, Port Fairy Folk Festival and Eastcoast Blues Fest, Byron Bay.
Josh will be showcasing tracks from his critically acclaimed solo mini album ‘Do You Wonder’ at the following Venues this October.
1st October - Quindanning Hotel (Solo)
2nd October - Premier Hotel, Albany (Solo)
3rd October - Nannup Hotel (Solo)
4th October Settlers - Tavern, Margaret River (Solo)
6th October - Perth Blues Club (Solo)
7th October - Mojo’s, Fremantle (Solo)
8th October - Freemasons, Geraldton (Solo)
9th & 11th October - Dongara Hotel (Solo)

Josh Owen is heading for a massive 2009, with festival offers flooding in after the great responses to his Quenscliff Music Festival gigs. The first gigs for the band in the new year are going to be back on the Bellarine Peninsula, on Sat 10th Jan at the Barwon Heads Hotel and then the following weekend they will headline the second annual Ocean Grove Festival.
